Turn on AutoComplete so that website addresses will be automatically filled in for you if you begin to type them again Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Use inline AutoComplete
Change how tabs work in Internet Explorer Tools > Internet Options > on the General tab, under Tabs, click Settings
Display the Menu Bar at the top of the screen

To display temporarily: press the ALT key
To display permanently: Tools > Menu Bar

Delete cookies, passwords, form data, history, and temporary Internet files Tools > Delete Browsing History
Find and install add-ons Tools > Manage Add-ons > Find More Add-ons
Print part of page Select part of the page you want to print, press CTRL+P, click Selection, and then click Print

MSN Toolbar Suite Requirements

  • Pentium 233MHz processor or better (500MHz recommended)
  • Microsoft Windows XP operating system or Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or greater
  • Minimum 128MB of RAM (256MB recommended)
  • 500MB of hard disk space recommended. Index size depends on how much content is indexed on the local hard drive
  • 1024×768 resolution screen recommended
  • MSN Desktop Search requires Microsoft Outlook 2000 or later or Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0 or later to index and search email
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later must be installed; it does not need to be the default browser.
  • Pop-up Blocker requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced at CES today that Windows 7—the highly anticipated followup to Windows Vista—will be available as a free, public download on Friday, January 9. Windows 7 Beta has been out in the wild (i.e., BitTorrent) since December, but if you’ve been waiting for things to get a little more legit before you tried it out, you won’t have to wait much longer
